Coffee Anyone

We love coffee.

We drink it at midnight. We love it after dinner. And of course, we have to have it first thing in the morning. Why not have it at our wedding? I don't think this is an unusal request. Of course there'll be coffee at the reception, but what kind of coffee? We want something top notch... something unique... something like a Starbucks kiosk and barista on duty!

I doubt that will happen, but hey, we can ask, right? I'm definitely going to have to give this idea of a unique coffee bar more thought and talk to our wedding planner and caterer about the possibilities. I just want something more than the typical urns, like syrups, a variety of flavors, and whipcream!

The same dressed morphed into four different styles is very cool! These flowers, the table dressings, and the design is also beautiful! It might be a little too purple for what I have in mind, but still noteworthy!

Rain = Plan B

If It Rains, We're Going In...

Since our ceremony is supposed to be outdoors, we have to consider the chance that Mother Nature might rain on our parade. I'll be honest at first I was really frightened that the rain would ruin our ceremony and I didn't want to put my all into a gorgeous outdoor setting, and have to makeshift a ceremony indoors.

Slowly, but surely, I'm beginning to get used to the fact that it might rain and that things may not go as perfectly as I planned. I've come to terms with decision to have an outdoor ceremony and I'm going to make our Plan B, just as awesome and beautiful as our Plan A. 

When we started thinking about our wedding ceremony, I could picture us in one of three different places, a church, outdoors with an amazing view, or by candlelight. So if there's a chance of rain (I have just realized that) I'll have a ceremony by candlelight, another setting for my wedding ceremony that would be the perfect suffice.

Color Consensus... Finally

I can't get enough of this color palette...

I think it's safe to say that these flowers are a big part of our overall inspiration (see my previous post, Pretty Pretty for more). When we go to the florist, I'm handing them these pictures and saying, "I want that!"

What color table cloth do you think would go well with these flowers? Keep in mind that we're still leaning toward the fall. Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
