Our E-Session & More Oxon Hill Manor Pics

More pictures!

A blog reader's favorite thing, right?

Well, one of the very exciting and wonderful things that took place not long after we found our venue, was our engagement shoot! It was such a fun experience and we fell in love with our photographer, Kelly J. Mihacole. Not only did she make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which we usually would not be (at all), she did some amazing artwork that really brought our pictures to life!

Here are some of my favorite ones:

All of the above photos are credited to the fabulously talented, Kelly J. Mihalco. Thank you, Kelly for doing such an amazing job! We love our pictures :)

There is a lot more that I want to share about our engagement session, but I'm going to save that post for another day. There's a great story behind pictures 1 & 2, and the second to last one too, so stay tuned!

In other news (and even more pictures), Mr. Brooch and mama Brooch took a trip to our venue together! I had to work (boo!), but they had a really great time and got a lot of great pictures. I'm sorry if these look like the others I posted. They're different and I just can't get enough of this place!

I still can't believe this is where it's all going to go down!

Did I mention that my mom loves it? She absolutely adores it!! When she called me as they were leaving, she said, "It's a winner!!" That same night, she came over full of ideas!!

Also, I'm happy to report that the night before they visited, there was a nasty storm and it rained like crazy! BUT my mom and Mr. Brooch swear that the garden (were we plan to have the ceremony) was in great condition! Meaning, there was no mud! Wooo hooo! This gives me a lot of hope that - whether it's a rainy week or not - we're going to get to have our ceremony outside! My fingers are crossed!

Did you have an e-session?

Did you love your venue even more the second time you visited it?
